Renaissance Noise Restoration

Renaissance Noise Restoration explores Baroque and Renaissance music, noise/improv, and performance art. The collaboration between CillaVee and Tom Law fuses period instruments, movement, and imagery with digital audio processing and synthesis to create something altogether unique.

Songs from Henry Purcell’s Dido & Aeneas were used as innocent victims and CillaVee and Tom performed torturous experiments on them – leaving them barely recognizable!

Sometimes they are ridiculously sublime; sometimes they are sublimely ridiculous!
